He asked people to stand who had an association with or was a boy scout or girl scout as a kid.

Last year 1900 Scouts advanced in Rank, 4300 Merit badges earned, 1500 campers, 118 Scouts Earned Eagle, 50,000 hours of community
service
The future of Rotary is from these scouts who understand community service!
They survived numerous challenges over the last s years but are alive and well.
They sold 2 camps and invested in 1 camp to make it world class
In the process of merging w/ council in Batavia to become the WNY Scout Council Kenmore Rotary has made a huge impact!
400 Youth members grew 11% last year
Financial support from the Kenmore Club has made a huge difference Foundation has also supported

Current challenges
  • getting kids to get outside to engage
  • Parents are so busy and this program includes them

Cam suggested a table for the scouts @ Kentoberfest.
