Kenmore Rotary is proud to sponsor the Mascot Maker station at the Buffalo Science Museum's new Science Stadium exhibit.
On September 24th, members of the Rotary Club of Kenmore visited the Buffalo Science Museum for a special preview of the new Science Stadium and we couldn't be prouder to sponsor the Mascot Maker station!
Whether you’re channeling your inner Billy Buffalo, Sabretooth, or an entirely new creation, this interactive stop lets visitors design the ultimate team champion.
Science Stadium is the Buffalo Science Museum’s first all-new permanent exhibit since 2018 combines the thrill of sports and the power of STEM!
Developed in partnership with the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and Buffalo Bandits, Science Stadium brings the science behind the games we love to life.
The exhibit features 17 immersive experiences:
- Test your skills in a state-of-the-art sports simulator and discover how physics, training, and technology shape athletic performance.
- Step behind the anchor desk at the Stats Center to record your own highlight-reel sportscast.
- Take on the role of a sports medic and evaluate on-field injuries.
- Design your own mascot to bring team spirit to life, and much more!
Plus, meet real-life STEM experts who help make sports possible. From engineers and data analysts to medical professionals and tech specialists, these MVPs (Most Valuable Professionals) demonstrate how STEM careers power the action on and off the field.
More than an exhibit, Science Stadium is a celebration of Buffalo’s hometown teams, community pride, innovation, and the exciting connections between sports and STEM.
Service Above Self is all about investing in young minds and our community and we know this hands-on station is going to spark a lot of smiles and imagination for Buffalo families!
