President Brandon opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance at 12:20.
Larry Coon led us in prayer.
Cathy Piciulo introduced our guests; Judy Tucker and Melissa Chernowetz from the Tonawanda Kenmore Historial Society.

Cathy Piciulo Introduced our speakers Judy Tucker and Melissa Chernowetz from the Tonawanda Kenmore Historical Society located at 100 Knocke Rd. (kentonhistory.org)
Judy gave some background on the Society and indicated they have an open house 11-1 this Saturday. The Society has a large collection of historical artifacts, documents, tools, furniture and more. The Society had received a grant and are using that to scan and catalogue the historical items they have.
Melissa thru a $5,000 grant from the Kenmore Rotary Foundation is working on the Music of Kenton exhibit. Kenmore West and East were a significant source of great bands in the 1970s. She reminded me of all the bands that played at my high school dances.
Presentation:
Brandon called up Judy Tucker and Melissa Chernowetz from the Tonawanda Kenmore Historical Society for a photo op and the Presentation of the “big” check $5,000 to go towards the Music of Kenton Exhibit.
Dick Hannaburgh won the split and Larry Coon got to draw for the Ace of Spades. The Ace is still in the deck.
Finemaster, Gary Roberts asked for confessions, Ed Markarian confessed both of his children are engaged! Gary quizzed the club on Buffalo Bills historical trivia.
