President Steve Blass started off our Monday meeting at 12:15pm and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance followed by John Coogan sharing with us an invocation.

Announcements:
- Steve announced the Board meeting on September 18, 2026 at Olympic Restaurant at 8:30am.
- Steve announced the next few meeting speakers: September 21- WNY Dyslexia Education Center and September 28, 2026- Elder Transition Consulting, LLC.
- Pat Griffin talked about Shred It on October 3, 2026 from 9:00am- 1:00pm. He had a sign up sheet. He had lawn signs to pass out too.
- Ed Hacherl talked about Isle View Park Clean up on October 24, 2026.
- Steve talked about the opening of the Buffalo Sports Exhibit at the Buffalo Museum of Science. The club got 10 spots to the opening exhibit and filled the spots.
- Steve talked about Amherst South Rotary Club Poker Run Bike Ride to End Polio on September 26, 2026. Reach out to Steve for more information.
- Ron Levea mentioned an article about Claudia’s Club in the Amherst Bee. We donated money to Claudia’s Club to buy washers and dryers.
- Steve asked club members to bring smaller bills for the Ace of Spades because petty cash is getting low.
