July 1, 2020 meeting by Zoom
Incoming President, Dick Hanaburgh, opened his first official meeting at 12:11 to a very small crowd (about 9 in total). Due to the small number, he decided against the usual meeting formalities and jumped right into business at hand.
First was the discussion regarding when we could meet in person as a club. Mike Ford has been working with George, the caterer at the Ken-Ton Commons, and George hasn’t gotten the go ahead to host anything in person yet. Therefore, we will have to look at other options for the time being. One possibility is meeting at a park, bringing our own lawn chairs/lunch/drink and keeping socially distant. Chuck Patterson offered his back patio/yard for such a gathering. While we are on the subject of our eventual meetings, as a reminder, LUNCH meetings will be the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m., and BREAKFAST meetings will be on the 2nd and 4th at 7:45 a.m. The random 5th Wednesday on any given month will be a LUNCH.
Chuck Patterson presented Proposal 1 for the slate of officers for the Foundation board, which was previously published in the Ken. The term would be for 3 years, starting immediately, and running until the next election in July 2023. They are Robert Patterson (current member) Mike Hettler (current member) and Mike Austin (new member). Pat Griffin, as acting secretary, cast 1 ballot the entire slate. Passed by unanimous vote. Proposal 2 is for officers whose term would be for 1 year, starting immediately, and running until election in July 2021. Those officers being Robert Patterson, President until June 30, 2021, Ed Markarian, Vice President until June 30, 2021, Ed Markarian, Treasurer until June 30, 2021, Mike Hettler, Secretary until June 30, 2021. Pat Griffin, as acting secretary, again cast 1 ballot for the entire slate. Passed by unanimous vote.
We then moved onto the board of directors for the club. Leaving this term is Tom Lang as Past President, and Audrey Meyers as director. Phil Michalowski has agreed to become a member of the board, as has Cathy Piciulo. The slate of officers is as follows:

We would still like to have speakers during our zoom meetings. There is one scheduled for 7/15.
As a final note, Dick volunteered to stop by Jovi’s and let Mark know of our plans to change venues and to pick up our supplies that are there.
