The finemaser Damon asked for confessions and Steve was fined for vacationing at Blacl Lake. Gary and Jim won their 3 day golf invitational flight. Jimmy carried the group as they won $300. Dick confessed that his kid thinks him and his wife are their servants. That is special. Ted was is Vegas and made it home with some change in his pocket.Ed was closest to the pin at Sheridans 15th hole, congratulations. Jim can use you on his foursome .Damon took Mike $3 for admitting his kid hit more fairways then he did . Jim sign him up! This one is the best as past member Brian Ahern delivered a cherry pie to Paul and donated $100 to Rotary and made a challenge to Paul to match it. With Pauls matching grant Damon collected a record amount! Who is this Damon? Come Monday and you will see for yourself. Thanks again Paul and Brian!
US geography is the topic, our tables question :name a US insular possession? Yep I got it, Guam. Next Rick answered the smallest state is Rhode Island and Dick answered the largest state is Alaska.
Drawing of $14 was won by me and Jim picked the ace of spades! $202. Congratulations.
Holly started the assembly on fundraising. Shred-it is 10/2 10-2, at Kenton Elmwood Commons. We discussed whether to revisit KW site in April and received mixed feelings. 1st email blast should be going out within 2 weeks. Wine event is a lot of work, we may tweek it and hold another one, but we need a committee. Other ideas were a meat raffle. A 80's party and a Octoberfest. Also check out what other clubs are doing.
Holly is making goodie bags for Cradle Beach, she needs help on the 16th or 17th at her house.
Membership needs a committee as per Mike and he wants to start a monthly happy hour.
The centennial celebration ideas were a banquet and plant 100 trees in the Kenton area. Nominated as chairperson is none other than Paul. Thanks again! Excellent meeting and see you on Monday.
