We opened the meeting with the Pledge and Invocation from Brandon Blatz. Our guest today was TJ Kodituwakku who has extensive ROTARY experience!
Announcements: Leslie announced NIGHT OF BLUES [Blues Brew & BBQ] scheduled for September 24th to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Northtowns. Tickets are available for pre-sale on their website. There is a Rotary board meeting Thursday September 16th, and next week’s speaker is Jenna Brinkworth, Community Engagement Manager, Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute. Paul C., Chuck P. and Mike F. won the Golf tournament sponsored by the Boys Scouts of America – and their trophy was present at the luncheon!

Tim Glor has been missing for a year or so – he is back for a few months then off to the sunny South [welcome back Tim]
As mentioned above, Paul, Chuck and Mike won the golf tournament – pay up gentleman!
Mike announced that this week is his 14th wedding anniversary
Dick’s daughter started kindergarten and is having a great time
Leslie’s son started college – and hasn’t missed a class [yet]
Paul C. has golfed 6 out of the last 7 days [is he retired ?? – asking for a friend]
Holly entertained us with some Middle School Trivia – which included “what color are Mickey Mouse’s shorts?
The split club was $21 – and I can’t remember who won, and who missed the Ace of Spades [just being honest!]
