Happy New Year! Here’s to a great 2023!
President Brandon opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance at 12:20. Larry Coon led us in prayer.
Ed introduced our guests; Larry Mazuchowski from Our Little Roses Foreign Mission Society and our speaker Reid Harvey.
Announcements: Steve announced that we have speakers for meetings in January. Larry Coon announced Edison Elementary held a Purple Pinkie event.
President Brandon introduced our speaker Reid Harvey from Africa Prosperity. He spoke about Environmental Health and Development for Sub Saharan through ceramic stoves, sanitary stoneware toilets and ceramic water filters.
Brandon called up Larry Mazuchowski for a photo op presenting a “Big” Check for $4,500 to help Our Little Roses with their own clean water supply. Our Little Roses mission is to transform and empower abandoned girl children in Honduras.
Linda won $10 on the split and Dick also drew the 10 of Hearts. Chuck brought in a box of chocolates from Courier Capital and Chuck had the winning ticket for the chocolates.
Finemaster, Gary Roberts asked for confessions, Brandon confessed to being in Disney World
Gary confessed to missing meetings and to start the new year off, Paid $20 to cover everyone’s fines.
