We opened the meeting with the Pledge and Invocation from Ed Hacherl.

Grant requests Charities are due 11/8/2023 and Foundation requests are due 11/30/2023
Pat reported for Lisa Davidson – meat raffle is fast approaching. We need 4 more volunteers
to fulfil our obligation of 12.
Donna reported for Larry C. – Thanksgiving dinner is 11/14; $28/pp and please bring an
unwrapped gift. Contact Larry for tickets or additional information.
Speaker: Steve Fine, President, Melanoma Education Foundation. Steve provided an
extensive overview on types of skin cancers, causes, prevention, detection and outcomes.

Mike Hettler won the split club [even though John Coogan was in attendance] and Linda picked the 5
of hearts!
Confessions:
Linda went to Clearwater for a family wedding
Mike H. won a golf tournament with his brother and spent some time in Salt Lake City, Jackson
Hole babysitting the grandchildren
Brandon’s 10U hockey team won their first game of the season [and it was only game #2 for
them!]
Ed and his wife are celebrating [11/7] their 36 th wedding anniversary
Cam will not be in attendance next week – he is off from work and spending a few days in NYC
Next week’s speaker – Ashley Carney, Hearts and Hands, Faith in Action
